The Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a nationally recognized and regulated qualification aimed at individuals looking to enhance their understanding of fire safety in the workplace.
The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to carry out designated duties as a Fire Warden/ Marshall. The course covers fire hazards, risk assessment, control of fire in the workplace and duties of both employers and employees.
Duration
This is a classroom-based course with either 4 or 6 contact hours. Dependent on the learner’s experience, there may well be some pre-course or post-course reading.
Numbers
A maximum of 16 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 14 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.

Certification
Assessment is on-going by the instructor.
This qualification does not expire, but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies and procedures is vital to keep the qualification current.
